MS. WHIZ'S KINDERGARTEN PAGES

2010/2011 Weekly Schedule

Every Day (weather permitting) we will be going to the High School track (please send walking/running shoes).

Mondays: 

• Library (12:20-12:50pm) - We visit the Library for 20 minutes once a week.  We hear a story that supports things that we are working on in the classroom.  We then each take a book back to the classroom, which we return the following Monday.
• Physical Education (8:30-9am) - We get 30 minutes of P.E. every other week with our new P.E. teacher.

Wednesdays: Music (12:20-12:45pm) - all Kinder classes gather together for sing-a-long in Ms. Reighley's room (and Mrs. Moehrke is our resident pianist - YAY!).

• Mrs. McElroy, our music teacher, comes every other week (10:30-11am) and works with the children for a half an hour on B weeks (see calendar on Ms. Whiz's page for A and B weeks).

Thursdays:  Computer Lab - We visit the Prestwood Computer Lab for 30 minutes every week.  We start with learning the different parts of the computer, how to use the mouse, etc.  We learn how to go into programs that support our cirriculum.

ART:  We have 10 art lessons for the year with art teacher Diane.
